He'll be up there with his buddies from about 8-9 on. Will you go with me? I don't want to miss it but don't want to go all by my lonesome. We don't have to stay super long, like an hour or so? If Lindsay can't/doesn't want to, anyone else? Peggah? I could ask A and I'm sure he'd probably go... but MAN that would be awkward!! Anyway I'm getting worried that he doesn't like me, but I know I should shut the fuck up probably. I'm just really not used to this seeing-each-other/dating thing. I want him to ask me to go steady, dammit! Hahaha. I'm like a teenager in a fifties book. Maybe he will give me his letter jacket or his varsity pin! haha. Ugh.

O yeah and I've settled I think on Rushmore DVD and some beer stuff. Now the hard part: Criterion edition of Rushmore? Or regular cheapo one? Criterion is so much more awesome... but that leaves less dollars for beers. But if I wanted Rushmore for my bday (actually I do since I don't have it) I would want someone to get me the Criterion.

Mom's coming to "help" me with stalls today, which probably just means buckets and sweeping. That's all right with me though, that saves about 5 min each stall which equals app. an hour! I was thinking about riding today but I rode twice yesterday, Shonee and Jake (sorry Lindsay, bossman told me to). Shonee was good not great, and Jake was, well Jake. He wasn't terrible, actually pretty good initially, esp. at trot. He really likes to stop at the canter though, and I was on the buckle with him the whole time. Downhill canter + sudden stop = whoa! He seems to know voice commands pretty well (uhm, especially whoa! haha) I should at least hop on Sho today since I won't have a chance to ride again till Friday, but I dunno. Yeah I probably will. She's been shirty picking up her right lead canter lately.

this is kind of creepy (the sounds earth makes that can be heard from space)

Anyone buy their own? I just got a lovely letter from my healthcare provider saying that b/c I no longer work the minimum required hours to maintain my coverage, I now have the option to pay $400/month to keep my coverage (when I worked the min. I paid like.... $60 a month). Suffice to say that I make just about that right now at B&N per month. So I'm on the hunt for something/also have to talk to Christopher to see if he has any kind of small business employer/employee healthcare plan.

So far I'm on ehealthinsurance.com scoping out the different plans available. My main thing would be office visit/ER coverage and cheapish copays on meds, in case I get back on the BC anytime soon.

I've still got some boys flirting with me on the okc too, since I don't know whether or not to change my status to 'seeing someone' or not. Woot. I watched the race at home, kneeling on the ground in front of the tv, punching my thighs with tightened fists, screaming "GO GO GO GO GO YES YES YES THAT'S IT!!" I'm sure my neighbors now think I'm insane or have an infrequent but uproarious sex life.

Gah.
